+davidcalgary29
Good news for British Columbians! The "Garden City Atari Club" is indeed alive and kicking. They hold monthly meetings and maintain an extensive software library. The President, Gordon Hooper, can be reached at ghooper2@lycos.com Membership is free. tyranthraxus
Hmm, wish I knew about that before I moved from the city 2 years ago Whats their membership size? Has this club been running since the 1980s?
+davidcalgary29
The club has about 10-15 members, I believe. It's probably a very worthwhile enterprise; Gordon Hooper advises that the club has a copy of "every piece of ST software ever made" and loads of 8-bit stuff. Besides, it'd just be a very long commute for you if you take the ferry -- unlike a 15-hour trip for me.
Shawn Jefferson
Those are the bastards who snap up all the Atari stuff at the local thrift stores before I can! That's great, I will have to email Gordon and see what its all about.
