Paul Westphal
How much Is this puppy really worth? Price charting does not list it, atarimania says it's a rarity 7, digital press says it's not worth much. AtariGeezer
$25-50 depending on condition, boxed w/instructions or NIB...
+MrFish
...Atarimania says it's a rarity 7, digital press says it's not worth much. Atarimania's ratings are for boxed software only. Digital Press' ratings and values are all for loose carts.
Paul Westphal
It's a loose cart in great condition.
+MrFish
You talking about this one?: Shamus - 8-Bit ..... Horse-Shit! I'd agree, digital Press is out of touch on this one. I sold mine, which was in better condition than that one, about 8 or 10 months ago. It was in a group with Protector II, Chicken, and Slime. I think I only asked about $65 for the group. They sold quickly though.
+slx
Shamus being my absolute favourite on the 800, I've been watching those and around 40 for an unboxed cart-only seems to be about right. They don't seem to come up very frequently on EBay. I own the disc version only and that doesn't work on XL/XEs (unless the splash screen is bypassed). Don't know if that affects the cart version, too.
kenjennings
It's a great game. One of my favorites. It's not common like Pac-Man or Star Raiders, but I wouldn't call it rare.
Paul Westphal
Well I paid $54.00 for shamus, zenji, and a silver label miner2049er, with the intention of selling them for a small profit.
Atari8bitCarts
Shamus, one of the best games of all time , goes for about $20-30 loose. For some reason NIB and CIB are very hard to find, thus much more expensive. It was very popular, so I would have assumed that there be more. There was an earlier version of the cart (like Protector gray housing), that would be worth more of course. The red case, is common.
