ACML
I stumbled onto this nice menu loader back in 1983/4. It was designed to run with Atari DOS 2.0 or MYDOS. It basically creates a menu using any "locked" file on the disk. It ignores unlocked files like DOS.SYS. Call it AUTORUN.SYS. I haven't used this for years since it only worked on the 400/800 OS-B operating system (did not work on XL OS). It did not until Xuel fixed it last week. Many tanks to Xuel for fixing this and many other XL unfriendly games and programs. ACML
I modified Mike Langer's excellent 3 sector bootmanager menu with a new header to say either; 1) ATARI Home Computer 8-bit Software 2) ATARI Home Computer 8bit Game Disk All I did was change the top banner header. Mike made a really good menu loader that does not require a DOS and resides in just the first 3 sectors (boot strap). It's in German (??), but remember "Ja" means "Yes" when it asks you to verify your selections. Does any know? Thanks.
