Cassidy Nolen
I seem to recall a socketed pcb in the 50 buck range that you could swap over the chips and have a very small footprint 2600. Anyone know where I can get one? Thanks in advance, I have looked all over the web but not sure what I am looking 'for' exactly. +David_P
Best is offering a complete 2600Jr motherboard for $39.95 (http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/2600_Tech_Tips.htm#based). Some pics of the 2600jr motherboard are at: http://www.the-liberator.net/site-files/retro-games/hardware/Atari-Jr/atari-2600-jr-1983-rev-f.htm As I'm not a 2600 collector, I don't have anything beyond that... Cassidy Nolen
This was a pretty small board someone had a run of a few years ago. IIRC it even had an edge with pinouts labeled for controllers, power inputs, etc. Would be much easier than hacking Flashback 2's and cart porting them. Thanks for the link to Best, I had forgotten they sell new ones. C

Cassidy Nolen
That is the one! Wow, sorry to see that out of production. I'd happily pay for one. Anybody know of an inventory of them anywhere? Thanks guys. I thought I had lost my mind. Hard to believe it was that long ago... C
