Vocelli
It is with much sadness and a heavy heart that I will NOT be able to Moderate the Atari HSC anymore. I caught my wife cheating and have been involved in a nasty divorce for 2 months. I am very sorry and wish everyone luck.
+save2600
Nobody likes a cheater, especially when it involves official high score contests! On a serious note, very sorry to hear about your news and wish you all the best. Never an easy time, especially when kids are involved. And they usually are.
Algus
Sorry to hear of your personal issues Vocelli. I only participated on occasion but you brought a high level of professionalism to the 2600 HSC. You'll be tough to replace. Thanks for everything over the past couple of years.

I don't know how the HSC could get any better though! my life has suddenly changed too but I do expect to keep playing in the HSC so I hope to maybe see you there playing sometimes? anyway I wish you the best...
Gorfy
I'm really sorry that you're going through all of that. Godspeed in getting it over with, and hopefully things will get less acrimonious as you go along. Thanks for all you've done for the AtariAge HSC!!! It was at its death-knell when you took it over, revitalized it, and made it the thriving club that it is today. As the Baz said, I hope you come back to participate at some point -- perhaps a good way to blow off some steam!
karokoenig
What the others said. Thank you so much for all your work. When I joined AA roughly two years ago, I felt right at home - thanks to a huge degree to the HSC moderated by you. Hope to see you at least participating in the future.
LidLikesIntellivision
I'm sad to know what you're passing through. I pray God you can cross these hard paths in your life as fast as possible. As others said, you've done a beautiful work that showed some of your qualities: friendship, generosity, creativity, professionalism. A huge THANK YOU.

SIO2
Been there. It is tough when you are going through it but you need to see it as an opportunity. Looking back, I much prefer life and wife 2.0 to version 1. Good luck with your upgrade. Best wishes to you.

DT Kofoed
Always enjoyed playing against you, and you moderated the hell out of the HSC! I know its trite, but this too shall pass, and we all hope to see you here when you can.

airsoftmodels
Vocelli, I am not sure if you will read this if you are no longer participating in the forum, but here goes. Don't give up on things that make you happy, especially during this rough patch in your life. Try to balance out the "Nasty Divorce" with positive interactions and activities. I am concerned that if you cut off your online friends you might sink into a depression. Personally, I have been very sick with Crohn's Disease for over a year. I have found places like AtariAge to take my mind of my problems and my pain. Regardless of what you decide, I hope to see you back when you are ready.

JacobZu7zu7
Vocelli, Time to heal, relax, learn and slowly let go of doubts, blame, and inner pain and disapointment. It should get easier as days go by,... Your video pals are here if you need us, hope to see you back around Atari Age soon. sn8k
It's stories like these which will keep me away from marriage. My 7800 never hurt me. I don't know you personally and I have yet to jump on one of these games as I just joined recently, but keep your head up, press forward, besides..... Girlfriends are more fun than wives and you can trade em in every so often.
