vbB giving problems on windows 8.1

I'm setting up a new computer and put vbB on it with all my projects, and everything works properly, except vbB makes my cursor flicker and the scroll wheel always goes farther than it is supposed to. This is extremely annoying and I want to know if anyone else has this problem or knows a fix?

Can you give me a link to the newest vbB version, I tried to update my version to see if that fixes a problem I'm having and now it doesn't recognize DPC+ anymore.

On a related note, what's the problem with the joy0fire part of my code, I tried to make tapping and holding the button do different things but it messed up on a goto, a basic thing.

The link to his blog that has the latest public version is here:

Thank you for catching that mistake but the new vbB is not compiling, the console says everything working as usual but there never is a final outputted bin file for it.

When you grabbed the latest version of batari Basic (not VbB), did you double click on the file "install_win.bat" that is in the latest batari Basic folder that you have downloaded and unzipped?
