ataridave
I noticed this on Youtube today: Yet from my Google searching, I can't find any computer made by either LG or Goldstar. And I'd love to know what this is.
carlsson
I believe it got redesigned and marketed as LG Symphony, since the merge with GoldStar and Lucky Chemicals took place in 1995, the same year as the first advertisment. Here is some commercial featuring Macaulay Culkin, dubbed (?!) into Korean: As you can see, the computer looks different in the LG branding, but at least it should belong to the same series even if this one was a successor to the original model. However, I don't find a plethora of LG Symphony hits either, perhaps I'd get more if I spelled it in Korean.
Rybags
A 5.25" floppy drive in 1995, why? They became irrelevant by the time the '386 was becoming predominant.
carlsson
Hm, I thought it was a slot-in CD-ROM, but in the first commercial they have a CD-ROM drive just below the floppy drive. Perhaps 5.25" 1.2 MB still was big in Korea long into the 90's?
