Thanks. I thought I should see tha Atari logo. I have no cart yet to test my new unit.

You just getting into the 5200? I really hope you enjoy it! I really enjoy the heck out of that system. I highly reccommend you getting the 128 in 1 Atarimax SD multicart. And get a best electronics gold dotted and gold circuit controller. Money well spent on it. Did you get theb2 port or 4 port model?

Yes, first time. It is a 2 port model. I'm aware of the multicart, but with shipping/customs/tax it will cost me more than double of the listed price. Need to find someone who is willing to send me as a gift. First i need to know if the console works at all. First thing will be composite mod. Next to get a cart. If everything is ok, i'll make a joy adapter(i have no controllers) and next a multicart.

I have the 2 port model myself, and really want to get the 4 port model. Due to the fact the 2 port doesn't play Pitfall, Mountain King, and KRazy Shootout. Even on the multicart it still won't play them. All because of the motherboard.

You can get modded versions that will run from the multicart. I'll reply again and attach a few. (If I can find them)

Also, you can replace the bios in your two port with a bios from a 4 port. Problem solved. :)
