Trebor
From Sebastian Mihai's development page: "In Poetiru, the player controls a brown bear who must eat four bouncing cupcakes. There are nine levels to clear, each level featuring an additional enemy. At the beginning of each level the bear is invulnerable and cannot move until the player presses the fire button to begin. Use this to your advantage, to wait for a gap in the enemies' movement." Read more details and download here. MadBomber
Haha! Now this sounds like an Atari game! So random. I love it!
Trebor
Haha! Now this sounds like an Atari game! So random. I love it! LOL...Indeed, love it as well. What's awesome too is we have another WIP game made from 7800basic. Sebastian was generous enough to provide the source code and even provided a kind-of 'homegrown' version of 7800basic per the 'Atari 7800 SDK' link. It's probably best though, to stick with and reference the latest 7800basic, ensuring the most up-to-date, bug-free version, in addition to new features. Also, the ProSystem emulator included in the same 7800 SDK download, may skew results, especially timing related ones. If real hardware cannot be utilized, the next best thing currently is MAME/MESS (0.159) for development and testing. It even contains a debugger. Hoping to see more updates and news with this unique, and aptly stated, 'random' game...Very cool!
