+wongojack
Wasn't there someone in the marketplace selling the 128 in 1 for around $90 recently? I think this community may owe you that much . . . edit: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/235805-sold-atarimax-atari-5200-usb-128-in-1-flash-multi-cart-90-shipped/?hl=%2B128&do=findComment&comment=3238080 too bad, it's sold

CannibalCat
Mask ROM carts (like commercial releases) and EPROM carts are 2 totally different beasts... to make a working EPROM cart you need a slight modification of the PCB usually, like the addition of a 7408 IC, etc. (and only certain "donor carts" work) For more info:http://arcarc.xmission.com/Web%20Archives/Deathskull%20(May-2006)/games/tech/5200epromcart.html
tep392
EPROMs cost a couple bucks each, so in the end I think you are going to spend more money on an EPROM solution if you want to have a decent sized library.

kiwilove
The advantage of the flashcart - though expensive at first, would be you can burn whatever new game you fancy playing and not be stuck with a game you have finished playing with. It would be nice though if there was an interchangeable flashcart system, which not only burns 5200 games but also others as well, ie. Atari 400/800/etc. Harvey
