Albert
Judging by the photos, that is one seller using two different accounts. I would report all of those auctions.
+Schmitzi
I´ve reported both as replica items.
Atari_Bill
There are a ton of these out there on these 2 accounts. Be aware folks. Report them and get these scammers thrown off.
CPUWIZ
LOL, ebay isn't going to do a damn thing.
Albert
Well, one of them has already been taken down. Does anyone have a link to the seller for the auction that was removed? I'm curious if his other such auctions are still up. ..Al
+Schmitzi
hmm, sorry, no. But I think I will get a message from eBay tomorrow about that issue, IIRC. Maybe there in is the name... If, I will tell here.

Or buy them and then give him negative feedback and open disputes with PayPal. ..Al
+Schmitzi
uuuuaah it was in my history, as I was on "Other items" exactly of this auction, before I reported it The name is goddecrum http://myworld.ebay.com/goddecrum/ And from the (still active) Apollo-manual, for later:) http://myworld.ebay.com/dre407/
CPUWIZ
Really bad repros too, Music Machine doesn't have a white border. http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Music-Machine-instructions-/141751852683?hash=item2101119e8b
Albert
Yeah, those prices are ridiculous, given they are just reproduction manuals printed on a crappy color laser printer. Not to mention the seller is pawning them off as originals.
Atari_Bill
I just reported every single manual for each account as fake. I urge everyone else to do the same. I agree that eBay probably wont do anything, but it can't hurt to try.
Atari_Bill
Well what do you know. It seems all these manuals are gone now. Not sure if the reports worked but it sure seems like it must have played some role. Either way that's a big win.
atari181
I have sold some items to this seller on multiple occasions so I sent her a message about the manuals. I ended up sending pictures of some authentic manuals (per their request) for comparason. I am pretty sure that she just took them down after conceding the fact that they were fake. jetset
LOL, ebay isn't going to do a damn thing. If enough people take ten seconds to report scams they will. People used to say the same of shipping and feedback abuse and ebay ultimately fixed those problems (well, at least took steps to weed out the worst of the scammers).
CPUWIZ
Shaming someone into ending a listing is different. I report shit with multiple accounts from various locations and nothing ever happens.
M65fieldjacket
Looks like goddecrum strikes again!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/CRAZY-CLIMBER-MANUAL-RARE-8-ATARI-2600-/141763975245?hash=item2101ca984d
Trade-N-Games
Im sure glad most of what I own is from 10-15+ years ago before most people bothered faking items. It's a great reference to have. I see the huge opportunity to fake stuff and rip off uneducated buyers to the point it hurts the market and on the flip side I see a great opportunity for people like me and a few others here who do games for a living with a good solid rep to sell these type of items and continue to grow the collector base or at least advise buyers on whats real and fairly valued. Ebay 99% of the time does not care in the least bit. If fakes keep selling prices on real stuff will go down with them due to people being scared and then maybe Ebay will change ---a little.
