TheBizDude
Anyone see this deal? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=14993 Presently at $510 with 3+ days to go. That's less than $7/game plus free accessories! It'll be interesting to see how high it goes. I never saw a California Games box, very interesting. One more thing for me to hunt down - darn! Most do look mint (as the description states). It looks as though Sauron gave the Pit Fighter box a great big bear hug. L8A! Gregg
Brian R.
... I'm sorry, but a Lynx collection is NOT an investment. Now if I can only convince Transformers collectors that plastic toy robots are not a retirement fund...

eric_ruck
I'm sort of hoping it goes higher in case I ever need to liquidate my Lynx collection to raise money. Of course, I have all the games shrinkwrapped -- it's a disease. Eric
TheBizDude
If it doesn't go any higher, I was thinking about jumping on it. You could easily make a few bucks. There's at least 10 titles there that I've seen sell in $30-40 range on ebay; Hard Drivin', Awesome Golf, Blue Lightning, Boxed CA Games, Gordo 106, Xenophobe, War Birds, Super Off-Road, Lemmings, Super Asteroids/Missle Command, Dracula, Casino, Battlewheels. If you view the seller's breakdown, I'd say the list is actually low-balled. I shrink wrapped all my boxes and manuals, only to prevent them from yellowing. Why own a collection if you can't play it? With the greatest of respect, I don't think that lot's worth $510 US. You can buy "Battlewheels", "Dracula", and "Gordo" for about $12, and even the rare games like "Super Asteroids/Missile Command" are on sale, new, for $30. If this lot contained some of Songbird's newer releases, such as "Cybervirus" and "Lexis", I might've given it a look myself.
