+davidcalgary29
I was (stupidly) playing around with a damaged cart yesterday and, at one point, the screen on my 130XE went "red". I can no longer get the Basic screen to appear with any regularity (it works perhaps one time out of every ten...and then reverts to the red screen). Can anyone advise what the problem might be? +Sauron
Yeah, sounds like it's time for a new 130XE. Sorry to hear about that, my 800XL has been giving me fits too.

Red/Yellow screen is usually a bad chip- CPU, memory, Antic etc. Sorry

That sucks! You don't own about a dozen 8-bit computers? Everytime I've heard of someone having this problem it has either been: bad power supply, bad chip (RAM, CPU, OS or BASIC ROM, ANTIC.) If you cannot find any 8-bits in your area... I have an extra 65XE I would trade for a lynx game or two... depending. I gaurantee it will be working, at least until you get a hold of it.
