tevvy
I've recently experienced an issue with my Magnavox Odyssey 2's controllers doing all sorts of odd things. It seems to be different every time I turn on the console. The first time, the first controller didn't seem to have a neutral position. When the stick was centered, it went right. Everything else was fine, though. The next time, both controllers were mixed up. The center was right, the left was centered, up and left was left, and everything else was fine. I have little to no experience repairing things, but I really don't feel like going and getting a new console, so I'm asking for help here. Any help would be appreciated. Also, below is a picture of the controllers taken apart. ~Tevvy/TevvTevv5000/TheKidsFoundTheGuillotine/whatever-other-names-I-go-by Edited December 28, 2015 by tevvy
7800fan
Looks like plastic sheet circuit board? I'd try realigning the sheets and reseating the cable connector, something may have been out of alignment.
Seob
Could be that the 74LS365N that control the joystick inputs are broken.
