ScottyDont00
www.console5.com Should have pretty much all you need to perform the power mod. My local RS had the stuff back when they were still open. I had looked for a kit on their site before posting this but after you reply I emailed and they listed the kit this afternoon. Already ordered. Thanks for the reply!

bigbacon
i just got the console5 kit today. I understand what goes where except for the ceramic capacitor. none of the instructions I see online explain how that is connected up by the power jack. bigbacon
i've read that but it doesn't help me understand where the ceramic bit goes.
+Mitch
I'm not sure I understand. It is this paragraph: On the bottom of the board jumper the two negative leads together. Solder one end of the ceramic capacitor to the two negative leads you just jumpered.Notice that there is a handy hole in the corner of the board next to where you have installed the power jack. Feed the the other end of the ceramic capacitor and the other end of the wire through the hole. Bend the power jack's positive lead toward the hole. Solder the wire and ceramic capacitor's lead to the positive lead on the power jack. Mitch
