herr professor
Maybe this link would be helpful? http://members.chello.nl/taf.offenga/atari.htm
ziggystar
Nope, I have the real roms already. Real ROMS cannot be used legally without owning a real machine. So if yuo want to distribute and emulator you can't use them because Infogrames owns the rights to them. I heard there is a Freeware Atari 800 one that is not owned by Atari Inc. that's what I'm trying to find.
Nukey Shay
Huh? I thought that the 800 system roms were released into public domain back in the Traimel era? This question came up when I noticed that zophar.net carried the roms in the Xformer package. :?
ziggystar
More Information Please! What other roms were released do you know? Atari st and what about 2600? any info would be great. Acording to Infogrames, they think they own everything still.
Nukey Shay
That's all I have. The original question was how those roms could be available there when the site specifically states that no commercial roms are there. The package includes the 800, 5200, and XL OS roms and the Rev.C Basic rom.
