fixxxer9
My cousin gave me an atari lynx (I dont think it is a lynx II) and it works but the cursor is stuck to the right. The buttons feel fine and you can't tell untill you play a game and everything is constantly moving to the right. Im guessing that I will have to open it up to fix it but I have no idea what to do. Anyone have any tips?
TheBizDude
Your cousin's name wasn't Vinnie, was it . . . .j/k You'll laugh too when you check the thread below. There's a post in here on how to open it up and clean it / replace the pad: http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23469 I suggest spraying some electronic wash in it. You can get that stuff at Radio Shack. Heck, I say bring the Lynx in with you and ask real nicely if they'll hit you with a sample spray. It might save you the trouble of having to take it apart. Just make sure you let it dry (like a day) before powering it up.
