Weeter
Hey Guys! First time to these forums, but long time Atari lover! Anyways, I have an opportunity to buy an Atari 5200 Trak-ball controller, new in box. The box is in good condition, just faded a bit, but the controller inside is still in the plastic bag packaging with the tape over the ball, and manual, and it looks awesome. He says he wants around $300 for it, as you don't see them new very often... I'm just wondering, is that anywhere near a fair price? It seems pretty steep to me, but looking on Ebay, I see one that has a crappy beat up box and a cord that is falling apart for $150. What is a fair price for it? Is it worth having it? I know that it doesn't work on all the games, but I heard it is great for Missile Command and Centipede. Anyways, thoughts?
Hyperboy
Way overpriced, check out this auction that just ended. If you can be patient they pop up often for considerably less. http://www.ebay.com/itm/182300827778 Sent from my non beer holding hand. Weeter
Oh wow, that is much more reasonable. So for a new trak-ball by itself, I shouldn't spend more than around $100 or so?
