RSS Bot
This news is affecting homebrewers including Nanochess and myself. You may or may not know it but, November 2013, I used Scubbly website to release Flora and the Ghost Mirror game as a digital copy downloadable (to play on an emulator or a special game cartridge like the Atarimax's Coleco Multicart) while cartridges of the game were not yet ready. Newcoleco's store on Scubbly: http://www.scubbly.com/store/newcoleco/ Nanochess' store on Scubbly: http://www.scubbly.com/store/nanochess-digital-store/ According to Scubbly's blog post on January 1st, 2017, their service will shut down around summer time. Scubbly's blog post: http://www.scubbly.com/blog/2017/01/01/important-message-for-all-account-holders/ What should we do next? Find another website offering the same easy service with protection for both buyers and sellers and low fees? - OR - Abandon the idea of providing digital copies of our new games in an online store? Any idea? What do you think? Please share and comment. http://atariage.com/forums/blog/671/entry-13571-scubbly-is-shutting-down/
