+Allan
A couple of more manuals I had scanned added since my first post. Also to keep in mind APX did five revisions of their manuals but most programs did not have all the revisions done since some programs were discontinued and some were later releases. I have been trying to archive all versions. It was a very late release and is in the last APX catalog but it may not have 'gotten out the door.') Thanks, @Fierodoug5 And thanks @BillC for scanning the Deep Blue C manual.

+Allan
Thanks, @Fierodoug5. Just to add, I have a third manual type version of Utility Diskette II on the way. I should have it loaded up in a couple of weeks.

Allan Allan - would you be willing to rescan a couple APX manual pages as 600dpi grayscale instead of bitmaps (assuming you have the originals). Looking for: Bootleg (V3) [APX_20218]_Page_10 Gridiron Glory (V3) [APX_20188]_Page_10 and Page_14 Moon Marauder (V3) [APX_20226]_Page_08 Eastern Front 1941 (V4) [APX_20050]_Page_13 (the map) Frogmaster (V2) [APX_20131]_Page_03 Frogmaster (V2) [APX_20131]_Page_04 Melt-Down (V2) [APX_20178]_Page_05? (map page- it's between 4 and 5 in the current pdf) Snark Hunt (V2) [APX_20154]_Page_07 (the map) Tact Trek (V2) [APX_20031]_Page_16? (Enterprise picture) All of them should have pictures of some sort on them. Kinda kicking around making an APX game manual book. Going off the list at AtariArchives, it looks like Kay classified 81 titles as "Entertainment", of which five are missing scans (bah!). Of the remaining 76 titles, after culling the review forms, warranty pages, blank pages, redundant front-cover pages and (unfortunately) the copyright pages, I've brought the page count down to a manageable 834 pages. Using a coil binding and putting 2 pages sideways per 8 1/2" x 11" sheet, a standard color book looks to be about 420 pages which ballparks $38-$40. I could do a full size version (original page size) in two $30 volumes of ~420 pages each, but I'm not sure what the audience for these is- it's niche at best. Just kicking around the idea. I've made a couple templates and done some quick resizing. Not sure how serious I'm going to get with it, but I've already spent a stupid amount of time making some fonts for some reason a few months back. I started with the existing Atari 825 printer fonts and increased the individual ink dot size on them character by character to make them look like they actually appear when printed, not as the original dot matrix sent to the printer. Wayyy too many pages to retype, though- unless somebody already has? Existing bitmap scans don't OCR for crap ___APX-V2-flat.tif ___APX-V3-flat.tif AtariAPX-Fonts.zip Edited April 29 by Kirkland oops

I remember I installed this upgrade in my original 800XL back in the day. I had no good way of getting or making a PCB at the time, so I just piggybacked all of the chips and ran point to point wiring. It didn't look pretty, but it worked. khaibitgfx
Did you kill any ram chips during the upgrade?
