+Ryan Witmer
I've made available a very early, very unimpressive demo of RealSports Curling. Check my blog post here for details -> https://atariage.com/forums/blogs/entry/13660-realsports-curling/ This is a shooting demo. It demonstrates the shooting system. You can shoot rocks. There are far more details and a download link the blog post. The download includes the ROM and the complete assembly source, because that's just what I do. Enjoy the shooting of rocks!

+Ryan Witmer
Nice work! If my curling game can impress a Canadian, it just might have a chance.
+davidcalgary29
My old user's group in Calgary (still active!) meets above a curling club -- how Canadian is that? I've been waiting for Atari curling for years.

I've been waiting for Atari curling for years. I'm fairly confident this will be the best curling game on the 5200.
+davidcalgary29
Any updates? I've renamed this one "Monday Night Curling" (after the SCTV skit) in my head.

+Ryan Witmer
Any updates? I've renamed this one "Monday Night Curling" (after the SCTV skit) in my head. I'm hoping to have a fully playable, although still quite primitive, demo ready for the Portland expo next month. It will be posted here, of course.
Tombstone
The sweeping motion in Curling would be a natural for the original controller.
Lynxpro
Make it Trak-Ball compatible!
+Ryan Witmer
Make it Trak-Ball compatible! I considered this, but I don't think it will be a very good fit. I do plan to do a trak-ball game at some point, but I'd rather come up with something built around it from the beginning. Curling will support all four controller ports, at least. It will allow team play, where one player is responsible for shooting and others have to do the sweeping, just like real curling!
