lucienEn
there are stil coming games?are those zelf-made? 2x yes but no one commits to any dates :-). See songbird.atari.net for at least 1-2 projects. My 3d project will very likely turn into a game but I'm not commiting yet to anything.
chris_lynx1989
yes, more are to come.there were plans for the possibility of 6 or 7 titles to be released in 2003,until the war and stuff came this was starting to be a reality we would all be living in as lynxers.now things havev been put on hold till the spring of 2004 as it now stands.this could change by august of this year.it all hinges on the economic outlook and all here in the u.s.a.we shall see how things look later this year.some nice titles are on hold too!! believe you me! smokin' stuff. wait till you see them!-chris

+Sauron
Well whenever you guys do get around to finally releasing some of these, there will be plenty of us eagerly waiting to snatch them up! I think having some new releases would help kickstart the Lynx forum again, which would be nice.

I don't think there are any economics with lynx games... Also I wouldn't know which titles are on hold because either of those reasons. Which ones? chris_lynx1989
sorry, lucien.i cannot let the cat out of the bag on those. yes,the war is related to game releases this year.with consumer spending down quite a bit here in the u.s.a. since 9/11/01 we are not willing to fork out the funds to release one or all of them to you guys.sorry to keep you and others out of the loop and the know on the names of these pending releases. --the ultimate atari lynxer
Atari Smeghead
Hello, Since no one answered this question with a number, I'll do it! We got to talking about it in another thread, where someone asked if anyone had a complete collection. I compiled this from a few different sources, wasted countless hours of my life ( ) and here we go. If you count the Dragnet music card and the CGE Photo Card, there are... Drum Roll please... 95 carts available to purchase! Phew. It would be 96 if you counted the CinciClassic version of CyberVirus (being separate from the regular version). Here is where some debate may arise. I count 87 full, complete games available. I am including these games, but I don't know if they are "real" games or only demos...can someone answer that? Hyperdrome, Road Riot, Krazy Ace Golf. Actually, can you purchase Krazy Ace anywhere? So, whatdya think? Does that mesh with you? Again, I say Phew! davidcalgary29
Sure! I think Telegames still has a few copies of "Krazy Ace", just $39.95 for all collectors and masochists. Remember, too, that there are a number of completed games floating around out there that haven't yet been burned on to EPROMS. Yup, you are correct. Thanks! Does that mean the game sucks? Seems like I did hear that somewhere. Remember, too, that there are a number of completed games floating around out there that haven't yet been burned on to EPROMS. Yeah, that'll always be the case. But, unless there's a copy that is available pubically, I ain't a-countin' it! Thanks for the reply!
chris_lynx1989
95 is pretty near right,i believe. krazy ace is not a complete game(it was released in 1995) and has only 7 real holes to play(yes, there are 9 actually and you repeat holes 1 & 2 all over again).comlynx or passing the unit around is not possible because after the first player tees off the clown does not reset with an open mouth to allow the other players to tee off.he just stays turned to the side after coughing out the first player ball.kind of silly.an alpha game really. road riot is a proto with a few bugs in it--multi-player and game completi- on bugs.some 90% complete.an unreleased prototype. hyperdrome is pretty good and is fully playable in single player or multi- player modes.fun with three or four comlynxed.90% complete or better. fun as a single game somtimes.like bumper cars with three or four bounc- ing off each other sometimes. Atari Smeghead
Thanks for your opinion on Hyperdrome. It is on my short "maybe" list of games still needed to purchase. I was always a big Ballblazer fan from the 8-bit days, and this seems modeled after it. Do any of you have Loopz? That game, as far as I'm concerned, is 100% complete. I've played the hell outta it, and I really can't come up with anything that's missing from it. (short of a box and instructions, of course.) Can any of you? Cuz, I did not include it as part of the 87 "full, complete games" list.

Cuz, I did not include it as part of the 87 "full, complete games" list. I think that many people consider Loopz to be "incomplete" because the "chain" game features only nine levels of play (although, at that speed, it's nearly impossible to play) and forget that the "match" option offers 46 different play levels. The title screen also tends to give the impression that the game's a "work in progress" instead of a finished product.
