HERE IS MY STARTER VERSION OF A SPARTADOS X33A GAME DISK USING THE BINARY-BASIC MENU (AS AUTORUN.SYS)
 

This 2-column menu was written by Mike Apocourastos in 1987, Calgary Atari Users Group)

This menu program works well with SpartaDOS X33A using all sizes of ATR disks.

Need to protect the files to be displayed in the first boot menu.

Press ESC to return to the D1: prompt

(I included the "DOC" file with full instructions. AND the menu is BLUE).

The two XEX files are "Protected".  Press "1" to see all the files in the ATR.  Press "ESC" to exit to D1: prompt.

Is there a menu that will scroll using a joystick, bypassing the need for a keyboard?

MyPicoDos supports joystick.

A handful of BASIC programs and Menu disks from magazines already have joystick selection and navigation in them.

No, it is not. MyPicoDos uses DOS 2 compatible file management system.

I now have this working with Double Density ATR disk images with RA emulation running on AGSP
