My assumption was everyone working there was too young to know it plugged into RF. When I asked them to get it out of the case the guy said "When we plugged it in, the TV blinked like it was trying to display an image, but we couldn't get it to work." Well, for $10 I figured it was worth it just for the box. Aaaaand, guess what? :-) It is a bit flakey though, had to nudge the power switch a bit.
