Dauber
Holy cripes...next episode is due out this coming weekend and I haven't asked for feedback! So....here goes: I'm looking for feedback one or two future episodes of the Atari 7800 Homebrew Podcast (you can find it on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play, or use this feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/homebrew78) What are your thoughts on Wasp!? This game will be covered on Episode 31. Deadline is 11:59pm CST on Wednesday, February 21. Mind you, I will take feedback *after* that as well, but if you want to be sure that it will be addressed in episode 31, I'll need it by Wednesday night. Aaaand...while I'm at it...how about Robot Finds Kitten? (Yeah, that's going WAY back!) I haven't decided if I'll cover this one in episode 31 or 32 yet though. You can also e-mail text or audio to homebrew78 -at- fab4it -dot- com. Comments are welcome any time, including after the deadlines; any feedback from after the deadlines will simply be addressed during a later episode. toiletunes
Wasp: Visually appealing. Would benefit from increasing difficulty. Maybe it gets harder eventually but if so, I haven't played that far yet. Robot Finds Kitten: Unlike anything else on the 7800. The first round is fun, but once you've seen all the messages, there's little incentive to play.
Shawn
Wasp! is good for a quick pick up and play. Robotfindskitten is relaxing by nature, you would almost think it was a zen simulator
Dauber
UPDATE: robotfindskitten will be covered in episode 32. Feedback deadline is 11:59pm CST Wednesday, March 7.
SlidellMan
It appears that both games could have used more in terms of replay value. Still solidly made, though.
gambler172
RFK is a nice little....demo on the 7800.For a game, something is missing...Wasp is a nice little game and worth to play......maybe a little bit to easy. Both no top titles, but good enough to play
+sramirez2008
Thanks for another informative (Robotfindskitten) episode Sean. You are not alone, as I had never heard of Robotfindskitten until your episode. I'll be sure to download it soon to my Mateos. BTW, here are a couple of suggestions for your possible homebrew hardware episode: - Edladdin Seagull 78 Controller Adapter - 7800 ProSystem Joystick by AA member UberArcade (Love my right-handed joystick)
+save2600
...regarding adapters and something I just discovered: Best Electronics Jag Pad to Atari adapter plugged into a Seagull 78 adapter allows the Jaguar controller to work with both buttons on the 7800! If I would have known this earlier, would have never bothered with the CX78, Genesis pads, or even NES pads converted for the 7800.
