+DrVenkman
The Battlezone in SS's archive worked fine for me. As for Jumpman, I still got the "remove all cartridges" message again. Try pressing OPTION during XEX loading.
Inky
Try pressing OPTION during XEX loading. Duh. That's in the instructions for the cart. Why didn't I try that.
SS
The Jumpman in the archive that I posted is in ATR format. Your UNO Cart should load it fine but you need to hold down the OPTION key while selecting and starting to load it to disable the 800XL's internal basic.
Atari_Ace
One can disable BASIC in code by doing LDA #$FF, STA $D301, which is harmless on the 400/800. I added that code into the boot sectors just before the cartridge check (there were 6 NOP bytes just after the check, so no trouble putting in the patch). Hopefully that won't throw off anything else in the code, but a quick test in Altirra seems ok. Jumpman.atr
