Atari XDM-121 Printer Teardown?

I got a XDM121 in a lot a while ago. It needs a wash and a retro-brite. It is a deep green/yellow color! I can't figure out how to take it apart. The paper position knob on the left dose not come off. I can't do much without removing that first?

Suggestions?

PS. Anyone know what the telephone jack is just left of the power connection? Is this a rebranded model of another printer?

Thanks

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to put the answer to the question here for those who come across this in the future.  Before you can remove the printer case cover, the platen knob needs to be removed.  This turns out to be a very simple process of loosening the platen shaft nut with a T8 star driver.  Once loosened or removed entirely, you can pull on the platen knob and remove the knob shaft.  The case can then be lifted up past the platen freely.  See attached pictures for reference.

Now if it could only solve the problem of why my printer stopped working. Hmm.
