fandenivoldsk
Are there any new cartridge shells being made for the Atari 800 these days or in the near future? I am not talking about 3D printed ones... Edited July 12, 2018 by fandenivoldsk
_The Doctor__
some of the long time Atari supporting sites have had runs of new shells but they use them on their own products....
Mathy
Hello fandenivoldsk Large® production runs using 3D-printing? I know Steven Tucker is selling new cartridge cases, but those are injection molded. Sincerely Mathy
_The Doctor__
The post is about NON printed shells... so he is looking for injection, blown and other molded types...
Mathy
Hello Doc Damn. I did it again. Stress at work is really getting to me. And somehow auto-correction too, I see. Sincerely Mathy
Kyle22
Steve Tucker's shells are very good. They are the same as the orange O.S.S. carts. Edit: Minus the O.S.S. logo, of course. Edited July 13, 2018 by Kyle22

+orpheuswaking
The atarimax cases do not fit a regular atari pcb, but I do know that at least two parties outside of Atarimax have used his cases for fairly large runs. There was a question made by Mathy in another thread regarding buying these cases in bulk, the response was... Hello guys I received a message from Steven Tucker today. 100 cases would cost $ 4.40 each. Plus shipping. Colors available: red, light clear blue and neon clear green. "They do not fit the same style pcb used in the brown Atari made casings"

Mathy
Hello guys In this picture (not mine!) you can get an impression of what the cases by Steven Tucker look like. They are used for all kinds of stuff, so don't mind the sticker: As I said, they are used for all kinds of stuff, so just ignore the stickers and the extra holes some cartridges in the pictures have. I'm putting these pictures up here so you can get an impression of the colo(u)r and shape of the cases. Sincerely Mathy
+DrVenkman
Yeah, I have two of his OSS repro carts (Action! and MAC/65). They're great - by far the best modern A8 replacement cases around.
