ZuluGula
I want to re do some Atari SIO cables and I am looking for a source of 5-13 wire cables in black jackets. Something similar to this https://www.kabeltronik.de/en/electronics-industry/miniature-control-cables/art/mini-control-cable-highly-flexible-shielded-lifydy-15/
fujidude
Here is a source for high quality cable at about six and a half bucks a foot. It's got 3 more conductors than you are after, but I doubt you will find anything with 13 (other than peeling ribbon cable and rolling it). You can just opt to leave 3 conductors unused. It is of course stranded and uses EDPM rubber jacket, which is way nicer than than anything Atari ever sold.
ZuluGula
It has 3/4 of inch diameter.
fujidude
It has 3/4 of inch diameter. Indeed it does. When I looked at it I thought I saw around a half inch diameter. That would have been a bit fatter than an Atari SIO cable but I thought it still might work. 3/4" is pretty thick though. Darn it.
fujidude
I would suggest maybe you get VGA cables and cut them up to desired length (discarding the ends). The VGA spec these days does assign a function to all 15 pins, so presumably recent production cables (or at least ones designed to be able to support recent VGA standards) should have you covered. They are designed to take a certain amount of flexing, usually well shielded, plentiful and relatively inexpensive.
Bruce Tomlin
Crazy idea: SIO to VGA pinout adapter dongle, bonus points if rebuilt into the shell of a recycled SIO cable end. Maybe a shell could be 3D printed. Then you can just get a fresh M-M cable if the old one dies.

+Ksarul
This may get you somewhere close to what you need. It is 25 conductor, 26 gauge wire, so it will be about as thick as your little finger. . .and here's a 9 conductor, 18 gauge wire with a black shell--probably about the same diameter since the wire is thicker, and lastly, a 12 conductor, 22 gauge wire that's in a gray shell--and a bit thinner. CMR
You might check with Redmond Cable. They may be able to help you out. http://redcab.com/home.php
