EnderDude
I made this .rmt file which is a WIP. It uses a filter for that weird instrument at the beginning. Does it sound better than the other conversion? sanxion.zip Edited November 2, 2018 by EnderDude
Rybags
Pretty good. I don't know of other conversions aside from the SID emulation one. Is there another one that was done using RMT as well?

makary
I made this one but I'm far from being satisfied with that https://soundcloud.com/makarybrauner/thalamusik-rob-hubbard SanxionMB.xex
Mclaneinc
I like both, the bass from makary's version sound right but yeah it needs to be worked on but I really like its style..Enderdude, solid version, I'm a huge Hubbard fan and remaking one of his tunes is always daunting for the maker as its a big set of boots to fill.. Well done guys (gals)...
EnderDude
I made this one but I'm far from being satisfied with that https://soundcloud.com/makarybrauner/thalamusik-rob-hubbard Say, could you possibly share the rmt file? The instruments sound nice. Edited November 2, 2018 by EnderDude
pseudografx
Enterdude, you have the instruments' volume too high so the overall sound is distorted. I suggest keeping the max volume under around 10 (A in hex). Also, replace your POKEY emulation dll in RMT with the one from this post: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/275737-air-man-mega-man-2-atari-pokey-cover/?p=3975190 It properly emulates volume ramping so that the final output is more like the real thing. Other than that, your cover is quite nice
makary
I am a huge Hubbard fan as well. Trained and skilled musician he is with perfect understanding of using limited musical resources. Right, remaking his stuff is demanding. Say, could you possibly share the rmt file? The instruments sound nice. Sure. The RMT Patch 8 is required to replay the tune properly. emkay
Normally I wouldn't try to recreate such tunes with the unstable emulation and missing bass corrections, but here is some impression.
EnderDude
I think I found a suitable instrument for that triangle instrument that has the ring option turned on in the SID version. I used distortion E, dividing 1.79 mhz. sanxion rev 2.zip
EnderDude
Somehow, the instrument at the beginning of the song in my cover generates these moire patterns when I look at it in spectrogram mode in Audacity. I wonder why it does that...

I wonder why it does that... I'd say it is the visualization of the continuous changing of the wavelength and "filter" . As the change is limited, it repeats in a fixed period. _The Doctor__
interesting, maybe it's time to feed moire and fractal patters into different players using a multitude of instruments

EnderDude
Okay, I have a problem with that dll that fixes the volume. After a random amount of time has passed, it will make this noise that I just can't describe other than it being laggy. It randomly does this. I will post a recording of this sound. If my computer is too much of a potato (a Thinkpad T410) to run the dll, I will delete it. now this makes me mad.wav Edited November 7, 2018 by EnderDude
Kyle22
I have seen his cat Fiona sit at a table to eat. She prefers it that way. Very intelligent cat.

Maybe try asking the author of the dll.
