AtariBrian
Ebay seller 2coolspirit is selling fake Gremlins carts and saying they are new . Anyone else have an issue with this ? Does not say repro anywhere . https://www.ebay.com/itm/GREMLINS-for-ATARI-5200-SuperSystem-cartridge-only-NEW/332956057049?hash=item4d85ba3dd9:g:SbEAAOSwLmBb7dZz:rk:2:pf:
atari181
He sold me a fake meteorites months ago, has since changed his listing on it to say "Repro". Seems like he sells lots of repros.
Shawn
I see he has a ton of homebrews from the bigger homebrew publishers like Opcode, Collectorvision & AtariAge for sale as well. Does anyone know if they are legit or are they repros as well?
Shawn
For example, Is this 5200 Beef Drop real? https://www.ebay.com/itm/BEEF-DROP-for-ATARI-5200-SuperSystem-cartridge-ONLY-NEW-/332969780871?oid=332956057049
+-^CrossBow^-
If those are true scans of the carts and labels, then no..that isn't real. The labels look very washed out and blurry on the artwork compared to the cart. I am curious on how repros of StarCastle for the 2600 and scramble would be made though? I thought those were using special PCBs and hardware for them to work?
Albert
Yes, the AtariAge games he's selling have been purchased from AtariAge, so they are legitimate copies. The images he's posting aren't that great, to be sure. ..Al
