Guest
er... coz thats wot a jaguar looks like...your probably thinking of a panther or something. Son of Twilight and Jesse, born here 19 April 1998. Handraised, born via C-section. Separated now from his brother Cisco, as they were chewing on each other's tails. A black jaguar like his mother, you can see his spots in the sunlight. http://www.cathouse-fcc.org/jaguar.html
Starcat
Hi ! Yes, I wondered about this some time ago as well. And the truth is, a Jaguar looks like this. http://www.atariage.com/forums/download.php?id=10227 However this, is no Jaguar, but a black panther. http://www.atariage.com/forums/download.php?id=10258 Many people mistake black panthers for jaguars but that's wrong. Books on the biology of cats can really be useful to answer such questions. I guess the black panther idea is still a remain from the Panter project, that later involved into the final Jag. Anyway, I love both Panthers and Jaguars (and basically all cats in general), so it's both fine to me. Regards, Lars.

We'll probably never know the real relation between the "black" Jaguar console and the project-names Panther and Jaguar. The problem is, that the usual Panther is known to be black and the usual Jaguar is known to be not black. But there are also black Jaguars possible (similar to the white pets of Siegfried&Roy) and the scientific names of all Jaguars start with "Panther"... JagChris
Hello Thund3r, I'm not interested much in the standard black Atari Jaguar logo setup as wallpaper. I do however, think your avatar would make KICK ASS wallpaper though. Come on, let us use it. Be a pal.
