JohnPolka
Are there any particular types, brands, and/or sizes of SD cards that work best with the Ultrasatan? I recently acquired one and a couple SD cards that work with it. I'd like to set up my own SD card as a hard drive replacement. I have the PP HD drivers and a 1040 STE, 4MB, TOS 1.62. Thanks, -JP Edit: This was post was accidentally posted on the programming forum; moved here for better visibility.
ParanoidLittleMan
I never had problems with Sandisk and Kingston cards. And using now them. But Toshiba worked fine too. I think that source is very important. There are forged cards available, and may expect problems with them. I'm bombed with all kind of spam, offering cheap cards, and will never buy from such 'offers' . Buying in proven shops costs little more, but is safer.
+DarkLord
Sandisk all the way for me - never had any problems...
JohnPolka
Sandisk worked for me. I tried some other off brand and it did not work. So, brand seems to matter. -JP
Wally1
I read somewhere that SanDisk was the very first company to make flash memory devices.
leech
Stay away from Lexars, I've had lots of issues with them. I bought a bunch of 2GB Transcend cards for my UltraSatan, and they seem to work fine.

I tried two different 2GB Transcend cards and both did not work with my US. -JP Edited May 3, 2019 by JohnPolka
