Alfred
yeah, that's just housekeeping. The last actual changes to the compiler itself appear to be from 2016. So is Effectus considered to be complete now, or it's kind of abandoned ?
Gury
Hi, My apologies, I have been out for a while, so my reply is little late. The project is not abandoned, just postponed. I will continue to develop it very soon. Regards

Gury
New version 0.3.1 fixes errors above. Basic support for pointers is back again. Download Output information via -i parameter gives you more info about used variables and other structures. Also, from now on 64-bit version of Effectus is ready for download.

I attach Linux version (i386, statically linked, works on anything with glibc2). Mads binary is also included (update - mads binary is no longer necessary - it's been integrated with effectus). Cheers, W. effectus-0.3.1.tar.gz Edited November 10, 2019 by greblus
Gury
Hi, greblus That's great you successfully compiled code for Linux ? It should work now without the use of Mads binary as it does on Win32/64 platform (it is integrated in Effectus). Can you please confirm this? Thank you in advance! Done from scratch, using new approach of executing code. More on that later.

+DjayBee
Don't panic. Lean back, have a good cup of Java and wait for the good things to arrive. ?

At a minimum, you will likely find the need for some assembly language subroutines if you choose a high level language. You might just find you don't need a high level language at all!
