tiggerthehun
I've heard that one can acquire 2600 power plug replacements @ Radio Shack. What exactly would I ask for to make sure that it'll work? Part # would be even better! Thanks in advance!

Room 34
You can also get a multi-adapter that handles multiple plug styles and voltages readily at many stores... I used one of those with my 2600 for many years.
Thomas Jentzsch
9V/800mA AC-to-DC Power Adapter 800mA? AFAIK 500 is enough (though 800 should be no problem).
ATARI TROLL
They have it in their catalog! Make sure that you let them know that!

Yep, 500mA is sufficient, but radio shack quit selling them I think AFAIK the 800mA is the closest they have at 9V.
Rob Mitchell
#273-1770 .... #273-1709 When you tell the Radio Scrap sales clerk the part numbers .. and they walk over to their computer terminals (instead of going to the parts themselves), remind the idiots to put the dash into the part number when they type it in. That will avoid them saying, "We don't have a part number like that in our computer!" (Yes this has happened to me twice .. once on the east coast and once on the west coast). Room 34
Well... you just have to ask yourself this question: If you were smart enough to do a competent job working at Radio Shack, would you really want to work at Radio Shack?
