Xebec Posted June 10 Share Posted June 10 Just an update - I bought a Viewsonic VA2447 monitor (MHJ version which has a better stand) and it works great at all resolutions and refresh rates. 50/60 hz on color, and 72 hz on mono. Medium resolution also looks good after fiddling with the upscaling settings. I'm using an OSSC and the Best Electronics cable that lets you push a button to switch between mono and color. The display can sync 48-75hz, or up to 100 hz on some models (specs aren't clear). The monitor looks great and is fairly bright - currently about $120 new or ~ $94 refurbished on Amazon in the US for what it's worth. The only issue I have is some monochrome banding, but it's still decently usable. If I fix that I'll add some more info to this thread.
