hoguedup
I have recently got an Atari 5200 4 port for my birthday and kinda curious on what I got as far as serial numbers go and how common it is or maybe rare I don't really know there is a lot of sites that say one thing or another and not real sure. it seems to be untouched all original no mods or work done to the console so just seeing if someone could give me some insight on this. even the one controller that came with it works lol. 0078265317
Also switch boxes for 4 port are hard to come by. So luck if you have a working one. Only 2 probs had power in the back.

ApolloBoy
5200 consoles aren't all that hard to find, at least on eBay and other online places. In all the years of searching flea markets I've probably come across 5200s only a handful of times, including the one I own which was a flea market find. Looking at your serial number it looks like you have an early unit, the "SV-392" stamp at the end means it was manufactured in Sunnyvale on the 39th week (September 27-October 3) of 1982. Consider adding it to the 5200 SN database here:
