Colleton
Played Oids and Lemmings. Upgraded a 1040 STFM and a Mega ST2 from TOS 1.02 to 1.04 Replaced the 240v PSU that came with the UK 520 STE I bought recently with an EXXOS 110v PSU. Works well, but it was expensive. Upgraded my 4K 520 STE (TOS 1.6) with the EXXOS STE Dual TOS board (1.62 and 2.06). Works as advertised, I'm very pleased with it. Using 1.62 for now. Kind of wishing I'd gone with a switch instead of a jumper though. Maybe I'll change that in the future. All in all, I'm finally happy with my ST situation. Using the 4K STE as my main ST with a UltraSatan HD. It's beginning to feel like my 2K 520 STFM with an external SCSI drive did back in the day. Now I need to find a nice desktop, any recommendations?
+DarkLord
Wow, you got quite a bit accomplished there! What's your budget? If it's upper range/few limits I just bought a very large desk from here: https://www.versatables.com/educational-furniture/classroom-desks They are expensive but built like tanks. I meant to order mahogany (like in the pictures) but accidentally picked maple. It's grown on me though. My desk is 6' x 3' and I've got a Win PC in the right hand side with the tower monitor and my Mega STe on the left side, with room for my STacy snuggled up in between. I love it. That's funny, when I read it I thought the OP meant Teradesk or THING.
