+Nezgar
I guess it's remotely Atari related due to Axlon being Nolan Bushnell's next company after leaving Atari? https://archive.org/stream/byte-magazine-1983-03-rescan/1983_03_BYTE_08-03_Mass_Storage#page/n258/mode/1up https://books.google.ca/books?id=6i8EAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA77&lpg=PA77&dq=axlon+datalink+1000+manual&source=bl&ots=y9HbDp2XlN&sig=ACfU3U2zcKSyMdsipcZ5cPRvDlcSmaOW5A&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiJucrLw5PpAhVXYs0KHfKXCfYQ6AEwAHoECAoQAQ#v=onepage&q=axlon datalink 1000 manual&f=false
Gunstar
I did think, naturally, that it was a device for the Atari 8-bit since it was Axlon made. I thought it was going to be a modem, a multi-computer server hub or LAN networking hub from the title. Wally1
essentially it is a portable handheld 300 baud modem w/kbrd. rocks! thanks nezgar and gunstar for some reason it is printing garbled characters when connected. any idea why? ClausB
Ad says it can display on a TV screen. What does that look like?
+Nezgar
The ad says it can do 110baud "for easy screen reading" or 300bps "for output to a TV screen or high-speed printer." Not sure if that means it can't do 300bps on the internal screen.
