mrdweeb
I just got the netusbee running on my 1040st and it works fine transferring files. Now I would like to set up other networking options. I'm trying to follow the instructions on ataridotorg. I'm having trouble finding all the drivers for STing, specifically the ethernec/netusbee driver, which apparently an stx file. According to other posts here, sting should run ok on my 1 meg machine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

mrdweeb
I finally found the ethernec files and installed them. Sting loaded from the auto file of my c drive. Now I have a problem that the sting control panel port settings won't open. Any idea what's wrong?
Mark_G
You have installed xcontrol.acc ? http://www.atari-wiki.com/index.php/The_"XControl.ACC"_Control_panel_and_CPX_modules_explained For installation of sting, see also : http://www.mega-ste.com/netusbee_n_sting.htm And don't forget to point xcontrol to the right cpx directory. Use editor QED for the configuration of DEFAULT.CFG and ROUTE.TAB. At ROUTE.TAB, you need to separate the items with TAB, do not use spaces. Further, I used always : EtherNet With capital E and capital N More information : https://weblambdazero.blogspot.com/2016/04/netusbee-configuration-for-atari.html Good luck, Mark Edited May 28, 2020 by Mark_G
