Randy California
Hi, Given the simplistic graphics of the Atari 8-bit version of Squish'em! (screenshot below) and the cartridge size (8K), I was wondering whether this game was originally meant as a VCS release... The graphics really look like 2600 stuff... ++ RC ++
Nukey Shay
Doubt it...just that the programmer saw no need to spice up the graphics. Simplistic graphics? Try Aztec Challenge
joeybastard
The CV version of Squish 'Em looks much better then that 8 bit screen shot. Squish 'Em is a GREAT game.
Godzilla
yea i loved squish em and had always wondered why it wasnt on the 2600, the vcs could handle it.
Randy California
Turmoil, Fast Eddie, Alpha Shield, Worm War I... are practically identical on the VCS and 8-bit line. I really thought Squish'em! was a "straight" VCS port as well before I realized it didn't exist on that platform at all! The graphics really have a 2600 feel, that's why I'm a bit puzzled ++ RC ++
