griff3125
I'm pretty sure I played it on my 1040 back in the days.... It was a 3D game, in color, I think polygon based, it reminded me of the old Mac game Colony. You start off in a space suit on a lunar surface, you have to make your way to the base while shooting bug like creatures. Once in the base, I don't remember much, but it's 3D and kept reminding me of Colony. I thought it might have been called "Infection" or "Infected", something like that. If this rings any bells, I'd love to find it. Thanks! FOUND IT minutes after posting, of course. It's called INFESTATION, great game..... Cheers! Justin Payne
I always loved the artwork of Psygnosis games. The gameplay was hit and miss. I checked out the Amiga version of this and the sound is much better. You actually hear your respirator breather. That's pretty cool. I like how your weapons are in the Amiga version a bit better since they stand out a bit more than the weapons in the ST version. Not sure why they needed to do that differently. The render speed is about the same. Overall, they look very similar with the Amiga have a bit more animation. It's the sound where the Amiga takes the lead.
