GruBBworM
Whats a MAME machine????
AtariDude
MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. Basically it is a software program that emulates the custom boards that were in arcades machines and allows you to play the games in their original format. You can play any number of original arcades games like PacMan, Robotron, Space Invaders, Superman:the Arcade Game, etc. A MAME machine would be a cabinet setup with a general purpose computer used strictly for the emulation and maybe something like an X-Arcade controller to simulate real arcade controls. It gives you the feeling that you are playing with an arcade machine but having multiple games to choose from.

Brad2600
But I know what you mean kepone. I have about 20 common 5200 carts that I cannot even get rid of.. Bummer Try eBay. I sold a lot of 8 and got just over $16 including shipping for them. I was going to do the same thing myself but I don't have a good camera for taking pictures of the carts. I did buy a disposable camera but have yet to get it developed. Wouldn't do any good as I sold the commons that I took pictures of so they're practically worthless now. I did inform the 'rents that I want a digital camera for Christmas. As for how much the store would give me? Not much. They're pretty much profit driven. If they can't sell the games, they won't buy them.

Osbo
sounds kickass how much would it cost?? hummm it all depends... some plywood, cables... a motherboard with a cpu, some ram... HD... you can do your own controls, but x-arcade it's tempting, so I'm think about it... my guess... less than $300 bucks (I have most of the computer parts)
