My friend Karen who is moving to Michigan dropped off a whole bunch of 2600 stuff.

Besides the heavy sixer that I mentioned in another thread, I also got

1 Suncom Tac-2 joystick

1 Pointmaster Joystick

1 Spectravideo Joystick

29 games (some rarities like Gangster Alley)

1 2600Jr

1 pair of regular paddles

1 2600 joystick (missing stalk cover)

Also got 1 pair of Colecovision Super Action Controllers and 3 Colecovision games along with a CV controller.

What does everyone think?

I feel like the luckiest collector. I wonder what I did to get all this stuff!

:D :D :D :D :D

That's really cool that she did that for you--I've always liked the Spectravision joysticks myself.

It's nice when non-collectors try and 'reach out' to psychos like the lot of us on this board. For example, my folks called me today from a flea market and read off the names of about 200 carts. They were all commons of course, so I had 'em, but to hear my mom read off, 'Uh, Bay-Zerk, Vanguard, Years Revenge, Q-Asterik-Bert...' was a killer. On the other hand, she went through all their catalogs and manuals too, and found me at least 20 I didn't have. And 'cause she's my mom, they were 'on her'--awwwww. :) Of course, then I had to tell her, don't pay more than $15 for the lot!

I know what you mean by that.

My mom occassionally lets me know if she sees video games. She mostly looks for NES stuff though for me.

Nothing beats a free gift of Atari stuff though. Especially the Sears heavy sixer!
