Atari and Beer
This past weekend turned out to be a great weekend for me at the flea markets considering my fruitless weekends lately. I picked up a Freeway and Front Line for 50 cents a piece, a Milton Bradley Flight Commander for 5 dollars, and a box with A Sega Master System, with 20 various boxed and loose Sega and Intellivision games (all commons) for 4 dollars. The prize of the day though was this old lady vendor who had 3 Atari 2600 carts on her table One was Space Invaders...I passed...the other was Defender... I passed. The third made me almost pass out....It was Music Machine!!....picked it up for a quarter! Definetely my best find in the wild to date! GruBBworM
LOL if he did get it for a quarter thats a damn good price reminds me of the joke why women like pac-man so much??? Cause its the only game they can get "eatin" three times for a quarter
Raijin Z
I think my best thrift find ever was either a complete NES, with a gun, power pad, and Rad Racer 2 for $10.
King Atari
That's a great haul without the Music Machine, but with MM, it's an exceptional score.
Brad2600
I think people around here are a bit too EBay saavy to ever sell something like that for cheap. I'd be damned if I could find a 25 cent Quadrun or Music Machine.
GruBBworM
nope that's only for the lucky ones and the ones who dont know the difference and since we know the difference we dont ever find good deals like that.
