manterola
Hi All, I have these adapters I put together. They can be used with Atari and Amiga computers. No price, yet. So I am giving these two away (for free) to two individuals that can test them. The conditions are: 1) to have an Atari ST model with niche underneath the keyboard, to test the fit. 2) to send pictures of the adapter fit. 3) to send the list of mice tested (and more importantly, if any model does not work) and 4) to live in the USA, hopefully close to the East coast. I have tried these adapters with Atari 8bit and Amiga 500+ with both ball/rollers mice and one optical mouse. No problems so far. Please respond by PM, and I will send it your way. Goochman
I can test and am located in the DC area, however I only have 1 or 2 PS/2 mice to test with. I bought an Eiffel board last year. I have a 1040 and Mega 2.
manterola
Thanks for the interest!.. The Eiffel board is super cool. This adapter is obviously a lot simpler than that. However, I tested and I was very surprised about how well it works. I built this interface for myself, but I thought it would be nice to share it to the world. Now I love playing Missile Command in the Atari 800XL with an HP Optical Mouse! I think is very cool. It is easier than with the Original Atari ST mouse I got years ago. Anyway, I will send the adapters to @Goochman and @krisu13 . Thank you guys for the help.
manterola
Hi All, It looks like @krisu13 does not have a PS/2 mouse available to try, so there is still one adapter available for free (in USA). Regards! Edited January 28, 2021 by manterola
