Grenawalt Posted August 12, 2003 Share Posted August 12, 2003 I'm new here so please be gentle with me. I recently purchased a 2600 system. When I tried to hook it up, I realized that the power cord did not fit the console. I found another cord for something else and it fit the console and gave power to the system but the games would not work properly. Could this be because I'm using a cord not intended for the system? Here's what you need: Input: 120VAC 60Hz Output: 9VDC 500mA Polarity: Center +, Outer - You can get a universal PS at Radio Shack, Target, Walmart, etc. The universal should have a plug that fits the VCS.
