roadrunner
Does this book include the Atari Corp artwork or just the late 70's early 80's?

Not entirely sure. Seems to be broken down by author. But the home console section does include descriptions of atari xe, lynx, and jaguar. high voltage
I've got that one and the Poster version. They are great (well, my Poster version is still sealed) I think there's a third version?

I need to see if there are easy to get frames that fit these (I bought some posters from Eurpoe that were A4...getting those frames over here was not easy or inexpensive). +thanatos
Nice, I think that's one I would have bought at MGC 2019, but when I got to his booth they were sold out.
Cobra Kai
Art of Atari is a quality book, I have a copy as well. The binding and the heft are all fantastic.
Mockduck
This is the single best book about Atari currently available. Plenty of other good options, but Art of Atari is the best.

Couldn't agree more. I have the deluxe edition (w/slip cover) and absolutely love this book. Nothing else like it and thanks to Tim Lapetino, we have the ability to own and look at some glorious Atari artwork. My son was into Loot Crate for a while and got me the Capsule Edition. Cobra Kai
I didn't know about any deluxe edition until this thread. Doesn't matter, the standard edition is still really sweet and of great quality. I'd love to have that Poster Book now!

+Stephen
Since we're all chiming in, I have the deluxe slip cover edition signed, and the poster book. Both are fantastic.
CaptainBreakout
I'd love to own some of this original art.
ledzep
Ya, I have the Deluxe Edition, it's fantastic. I love that style of box art from the early Atari days. I even bought those empty prop game boxes from Panic, Inc., just because they look like period-correct long-lost 2600 games. I wish game boxes today had that style. https://panic.com/blog/panic-retro-art/
7800Knight
I'm an artist myself - I draw comics and made my first picture book recently. I also appreciate the artwork on another level; it is gorgeous from a technical perspective. It is sad too nowadays that so many professional illustrators use computers and graphics programs to create art. I miss the days where illustrators actually painted with oils, acrylic, watercolors, etc.
