cases for TI stuff

dhe

Recommended Posts

If you find a case that works particularly well for TI stuff, put it here for others.

I was at the dollar store last weekend and found this locking Sterillite tube that pretty good for storing one or two TI boards.

(This example has one horizon wrapped in an anti-static bag, doubled over, and one Super XB Module to make it easy to reference size.

I use these A LOT.  They seem to be disappearing from the major stores where I used to get them (Target and Walmart.)  Publix and some Dollar General still have them.  I have been buying them bulk.

I can confirm this in my area, too.  It's a shame because the containers that I WANT are never in stock!  ?

I swear, sometimes i think stores watch me to see what i buy, then about 3 weeks down the road, they no longer carry that item.

Target operates a marketplace through its website, from which you can buy the Sterilite clip-boxes in bulk.  The same seller is also on eBay can usually you can purchase more cheaply through the eBay store.

I have built up quite a collection of the clip-boxes as they stack very well and have turned out to be very sturdy.  The uniformity is helpful in an office like mine as well as in storage and the closet.  The Sterilite shoeboxes and the similarly-designed larger boxes are also leaving the stores in favor of some new design.  As usual, the new rounded designs are not space efficient as the more square boxes they replace.  Target was re-branding the good designs under its Room Essentials brand, but those have been difficult to get in-store, as well.

I guess ten years is the limit on sales of good designs.
