8-Bit Software: A Preservation Effort - Non-Originals/Cracks

The non-originals were a bust.

Mostly Commodore disks and the couple that were Atari were dirty so recordings went bad.  There was nothing interesting on the Atari Disks anyway.

I am not archiving the C64 disks because I cannot tell when they are good. I just do not want to learn another system.

World of Zenobia, The (1988)(Katt-Ware)(US)[non-original disk]

Never heard of this and did not find any info.

There 4 sides of a disk for this game

This was a game for Carina BBS... I had it on the Adventurer's Guild awhile back and will be on a project I'll be putting up soon.

Though I don't recall seeing a title screen or anything that looked like that. :)  I'll download it and confirm whether it's the same one.

If this is a "complete" version of the game I had, that would be a major find!  Thank you!

On the Super Huey disk, side 2 said Pinball Construction Set. Did you dump that one?

Too many bad sectors and unable clean good enough. You can't get them all.

Please let us know what you find. The program here is on four sides and appears to be complete but this review states there are three disks:

The game is also mentioned here:

Game disk #14

Note: Light search for the Pro Bowling program returned nothing.

Micro Media Magazine was a very early mag distributed on disk. A few programs on some of the issues were lated released commercially like Personal Finance

Interesting that Pro Bowling (later by APX) started that way as well.
